There are several factors and variables that make coffee taste the way it does. Roasting techniques, brewing styles, the growing region, and how ripe the coffee cherry is when it is picked all have an impact on flavor. Another important factor is how the coffee is processed after the cherries are picked.

Processing of the coffee seed from the cherry happens after the coffee is picked from the tree. Coffee processing can be done in different ways. Below are short videos that show a summary of each type and how the coffee processing works.
